KING'S MEN'S TENNIS SPLITS PAIR OF MATCHES ON OPENING DAY OF SPRING BREAK TRIP
ORLANDO – The King's College men's tennis team opened its 2011 spring campaign by splitting two matches in during their spring trip in Orlando.
The Monarchs suffered an 8-1 loss against Ursinus College Tuesday morning, before defeating Alfred University 5-4 in the afternoon.
The Monarchs fall to stand at 1-3, continuing its schedule from the first semester. Ursinus improves to 3-0 on the year.
Against Ursiuns, freshman Chris DiMino was the lone winner for King's posting a victory in his number six singles position. DiMino defeated Ursinus' Kevin Dean 6-2, 2-6, 10-5.
In the match with Alfred, Jake Rohrig and Chris DiMino were winners in both singles and doubles. Tim Carroll, and Nick Conte also added singles victories for the Monarchs,
