King's Men's Tennis Drops 7-2 Decision at Marywood

KING'S MEN'S TENNIS DROPS 7-2 DECISION AT MARYWOOD
 
SCRANTON, PA -- Host Marywood University took all three doubles flights then posted wins in four of six singles matches to record a 7-2 win over visiting King's College Sunday afternoon in Scranton.
 
King's slips to 4-8 overall following the loss, while Marywood improves to 7-3 extending their match win-streak to six straight.
 
Marywood took all three doubles flights by scores of 8-5. In singles play, King's rookie Jake Rohring won his match in the fifth position with a 6-0, 6-3 decision over Wyatt Nolan. Freshman Chris DiMino (10-2) was also victorious from the sixth position for the Monarchs defeating Frank Nicolosi in straight sets 6-0, 6-4.
 
King's will return to the courts Wednesday when the Monarchs host Lancaster Bible College for a non-conference tilt scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
