KING'S MEN'S TENNIS FALLS 8-1 AGAINST WILKES
WILKES-BARRE -- Visiting Wilkes University swept all three doubles flights, then posted wins in five of six singles matches to post an 8-1 win over King's College Saturday afternoon at Kirby Park.
With the loss King's slips to 3-6 overall and 1-1 in MAC play. Wilkes improves to 5-2 on the year and 1-0 in league matches.
Chris DiMino was the lone winner for the Monarchs in the number six singles position taking his match against Wilkes' Bai Nguygen in straight sets 7-5, 6-4. DiMino improved his singles mark to 7-2 on the year.
The Monarchs will return to the court tomorrow (Sunday) for a MAC match against Alvernia University at 1:00 p.m.
