King's Men's Tennis Tallies 7-2 Triumph Over Alvernia

MONARCH TENNIS POSTS 7-2 WIN OVER ALVERNIA
 
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's tennis team won all three doubles contests then followed up by capturing four of the six singles bouts as the Monarchs posted a 7-2 victory over visiting Alvernia University Sunday at Kirby Park.

With the win, King's improved to 4-6 on the year while Alvernia fell to 3-6.

Tony Bevevino, Mike Steinberger, Jake Rohring, and Chris DiMino were all winners in singles and doubles for the Monarchs. Bevevino teamed with Tim Carroll for a triumph at number-one doubles, Steinberger and P.T. Romano won the number-two doubles flight, while Rohring and DiMino captured number-three doubles. 

King's next travels to Annville on Tuesday to face Lebanon Valley College at 3:30 p.m.
