King's Men's Tennis Drops 8-1 Decision to Manhattanville

KING'S MEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO HOST MANHATTANVILLE, 8-1
 
PURCHASE, NY -- The King's College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to host Manhattanville College in a Freedom Conference matchup Saturday in Purchase, NY.

With the win, Manhattanville improved to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in Freedom Conference matches. King's slipped to 4-7 and 1-2 in league competition.

The Valiants opened up by sweeping all three doubles matches, then sealed the meet by winning five of the six singles contests. King's freshman Chris DiMino continued his fine play as a rookie, improving his singles mark to 9-2 by posting a 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Chris Lin in the number-six flight.
 
The Monarchs return to action Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. at Marywood University in Scranton.
