Wilkes-Barre-- The King's College men's soccer team earned a 1-0 overtime victory at Juniata Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

After a scoreless regulation it appeared that the game was going to a second overtime when senior Joey Bender scored on a penalty kick with just :49 to play.

Bender scored on his fifth shot of the game. Max Allegro was the only other player on the Monarchs to register multiple shots with three.

Mark Labbadia recorded his fourth shutout making five saves and improving to 3-0-1 on the season.

The Monarchs return to action Sunday when they travel to Saint Vincent.
