Wilkes-Barre, PA-- Behind a huge day from junior
Heather Bowman, the King's College women's volleyball team downed previously undefeated William Paterson 3-1 Saturday afternoon at McGrane Gymnasium.
The Lady Monarchs dropped the first set 25-22, but rallied back to take the final three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-21.
Bowman led all players with 20 kills and added 17 digs.
Lauren Rockhold chipped in eight kills and 25 digs.
Caitlyn Custer added seven kills.
Amanda Horton triggered the Lady Monarch offense with 18 assists and four service aces.
Kaleigh Brady also saw time at setter with 16 assists and nine digs.
King's College will return to Freedom Conference action Tuesday when it travels to Fairleigh Dickinson at 7:00 pm.
