Gwynedd Valley, PA-- The King's College men's soccer team earned a 3-0 win over Gwynedd Mercy Saturday afternoon at Gwynedd Mercy College Athletic Complex.
The Monarchs got on the board first when the Griffins put the ball into their own net just 3:52 into the game. King's picked up a goal form
Niall Croke assisted by
Tim Meyer to give the Monarchs a 2-0 halftime lead.
King's tacked on an insurance tally from
Jordan Okun at the 79:28 mark.
The Monarchs outshot the Gwynedd Mercy 16-5 and held a slight edge in corner kicks 4-2.
Mark Labbadia improved to 6-1-1 on the season making two saves and earning his fifth shutout of the season.
King's travels to Susquehanna on Wednesday for a non-conference tilt slated for 7:00 pm.
