LADY MONARCH SWIMMERS GO 1-1 WITH MESSIAH, ARCADIA

GRANTHAM — The King's College women's swim teams split with Messiah College and Arcadia University Saturday in Grantham. In King's first competition of the new year, the Lady Monarchs bested Arcadia 75-45 but lost to Messiah 75-46.
Patricia Manning won the 200-breaststroke with a time of 2:47.16 and also captured the 200-individual medley at 2:26.39. She was second in the 200-butterfly with a 2:30.94
Caroline fitch won the 1,000-freestyle with a time of 12:04.83. Kim Brino was second in the 200-freestyle at 2:13.56 as well as in the 100-butterfly at 1:07.08.
Erin McLin wsa second in the 200-backstroke at 2:29.22.
The Lady Monarchs 200-freestyle relay team of Fitch,
Chrissy O'Loughlin,
Kathleen Kerr, and
Shannon Johnson were second with a time of 1:56.12.
King's Swimmers return to action Wednesday with a 6:00 p.m. tri-meet with Lycoming and FDU-Florham at the Wilkes-Barre C.Y.C.
