KING'S WOMEN'S SWIMMERS FALL TO ETOWN, SET SIGHTS ON MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

WILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's swim team competed in its final event of the regular-season as the Lady Monarchs prepped for the upcoming Middle Atlantic Conference Championship with a 121-79 loss to visiting Elizabethtown College Saturday in Scandlon Gymnasium.
With the loss, King's ended the season with a 5-7 record.
Caroline Fitch was victorious in the 200-individual medley with a time of 2:30.68.
Erin McLin won the 200-backstroke with a 2:24.31.
Patricia Manning won the 200-breaststroke with a time of 2:42.25 and was second in the 200-freestyle at 2:07.60.
Kimmie Brino was second in the 200-butterfly at 2:25.14, while
Macawley Brown was second in the 100-freestyle with a 1:00.49. King's team of McLin, Manning, Brown, and Brino won the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:28.72.
King's will be idle until competing in the MAC Championships February 10-12 at the Wilkes-Barre Catholic Youth Center.
