KING'S VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS NJCU

WILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a 3-1 victory over visiting New Jersey City University Friday night in Scandlon Gymnasium.

King's, which won by scores of 25-23, 25-16, 20-25, 25-20, improved to 7-16 on the year while NJCU slipped to 7-18. Prior to the game King's honored its two seniors Jillian Foster and Molly Dahl.

Elen O'Donnell and Alexa Morgan topped King's with 10 kills apiece. Mary Loughran dished out 29 assists while adding seven digs and two service aces. Foster tallied 16 digs and an ace while Dahl posted two kills and four total blocks. Kelsie Kramer and Aubrey Gryskiewicz had five kills each while Katie Senunas ripped four service aces. Alyssa Powell chipped in with six digs.

King's continues play Saturday with a 1:00 PM tri-meet at Cedar Crest College along with Immaculata University.
