Allentown, Pa.-- The King's College women's volleyball team topped Immaculata 3-0 and fell 3-2 against host Cedar Crest in non-conference action on Saturday.

In the opener against Immaculata the Lady Monarchs won in straight sets with scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 25-23.

King's offense was paced by freshman Alexa Nelson who had 12 kills. Mary Loughran posted 17 assists and six assists. Kaleigh Brady added four kills. Jillian Foster has posted nine digs. Andrea Okoro led Immaculata with five kills.

Cedar Crest took the opening set 25-23, but the Lady Monarchs won the next two sets 25-23 and 25-16. The Falcons rallied winning the next two sets 26-24 and 15-7 to win the match.

Nelson led the way again tallying 16 kills. Elen O'Donnell added eight kills and six digs. Loughran chipped in 38 set assists. Foster posted 17 digs and four service aces. Molly Dahl notched six kills and a pair of blocks

Cedar Crest was led by 16 kills from Rebecca Grady. Amber Wehry added 13 kills and four service aces. Debra Lobien triggered the offense with 42 assists.

The Lady Monarchs return to action on Tuesday when they travel to William Paterson for a non-conference showdown.
