King's Volleyball Sweeps William Paterson, Hosting Dig Pink Rally Wednesday

KING'S VOLLEYBALL POSTS 3-0 ROAD WIN OVER WILLIAM PATERSON

WAYNE, NJ -- The King's College women's volleyball team competed in its last non-conference match of the season and walked away with a 3-0 victory over host William Paterson University Tuesday night in Wayne, NJ.

The Lady Monarchs won by scores of 25-23, 25-18, 26-24. With the triumph, King's improved to 9-17 on the year while William Paterson fell to 14-10.

Alexa Nelson led the way offensively for King's with 12 kills while Mary Loughran followed with 27 assists, four kills, and 11 digs. Kelsie Kramer added seven kills and one block while Elen O'Donell contributed six kills, four digs, and two blocks. Molly Dahl tallied three kills and seven digs while Jillian Foster registered seven digs.

King's returns to the court Wednesday night (October 24) when the Lady Monarchs play their final home meet of the season against Freedom Conference rival Delaware Valley College in Scandlon Gym.

The event will also be part of the "Dig Pink Rally" as the Lady Monarchs attempt to raise money and create awareness about Breast Cancer. Dig Pink Merchandise will sold before and during the match.
