King's Men's Basketball Returns to Action Monday Against Penn State-Hazleton
Wilkes-Barre, Pa.—The King's College men's basketball team steps out of Freedom Conference play when they host Penn State-Hazleton at 7:00 p.m. at Scandlon Gymnasium.

King's come into the game with Penn-State Hazleton with a 3-3 overall record after dropping a 59-56 decision to FDU-Florham Saturday in Freedom Conference play.
The Nittany Lions have a 2-3 overall record. Penn State-Hazleton snapped a three-game losing streak with a 77-61 victory over Penn College.
Keyton Winder leads the Monarch offense averaging 12.0 points per game. Winder is also King's leading rebounder with 5.5 rebounds per game.
Matt Fiorino adds 11.3 points per game and has hit 14 3-pointers through six games.
Tim O'Shea chips in 9.2 points and 4.2 boards per contest.
The Monarchs have also got significant contributions from junior
Kyle Hammonds and freshman
Tom Heston. Hammonds has scored 8.8 points per game. Heston has kicks in 5.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
Penn State-Hazleton averages 77.6 points per game paced by 16.0 points from Alex Akabogu. Akabogu is also the Nittany Lions leading rebounder with 8.8 boards per game. Miguel Rodriguez chips in 15.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per outing. Ashkan Naderi posts 12.6 points per game.
Following the matchup with the Nittany Lions the Monarchs will host the PNC Monarch Classic on Friday and Saturday. In addition to the Monarchs, Central Penn College, Susquehanna and Wilkes will participate.
