King's Women's Basketball Hosts Penn State-Schuylkill on Wednesday
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The King's College women's basketball team looks to get back on track when they host Penn State-Schuylkill Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Scandlon Gymnasium.

King's Student Athlete Advisory Committee is holding a canned food drive. The food will go to local families in need during the holiday season.
The Lady Monarchs bring a 3-3 overall record after dropping an 81-59 decision to FDU-Florham Saturday in Freedom Conference action.
Penn State-Schuylkill stands at 0-5 on the year. The Lions fell 49-39 to Penn State-Mont Alto on Monday night.
King's offense is posting 69.2 points per game behind 17.7 points per game from senior guard
Celia Rader. Rader has connected on 24-of-63 shots from beyond the arc and he 4.0 triples per game is tied for third in the nation. Fellow senior
Katlin Michaels averages 16.2 points, and 7.3 rebounds per contest. Her 7.7 helpers per contest ranks second in Division III. Michaels went for 21 points against FDU-Florham on Saturday.
Sophomore
Marissa Manning has added 12.8 points, 4.2 reboundsper game. Manning's 2.3 blocks per game ranks third in the Freedom Conference. Senior
Lindsay Atchison adds 8.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Ashley Davies tallies 6.5 points a team leading 7.8 rebounds.
The Lions offense is led by sophomore Katelyn Celani with 11.6 points per game. Celani is also grabbing 7.6 rebounds per contest. Bree Green is the only other Lion in double figure scoring with 10.6 points per game. Shannon Kenney leads Penn State-Schuylkill in rebounding with 8.4 boards per game.
Following the game with Penn State-Schuylkill the Lady Monarchs will be off until Dec. 28 when they travel to the Juniata Holiday tournament. King's will take on Farmingdale State in the opening game of the tourney.
