Monarch Basketball Looks to Get Back on Track at FDU-Florham
Madison, NJ-- The King's College men's basketball team is looking to snap a five-game in conference losing streak when it travels to FDU-Florham for a 3:00 p.m. tip.

FDU is 9-11 overall and 4-5 in the Freedom Conference tied for fifth place with Manhattanville just one game back of the final playoff spot. The Monarchs have an 8-12 record and a 3-6 mark in the conference two games out of a playoff spot.
These two teams faced each other two months ago with the Monarchs coming out on top 75-70 at King's Scandlon Gymnasium.
Kyle Hammonds and
Nick Reisig each scored 13 points for King's. Mike Williamson paced the Devils offense with 21 points off the bench.
The Monarchs offense has averaged 69.9 points per game and the defense has given up 71.3 points. FDU has scored 63.9 points and given up 65.7 points per contest.
Hammonds has lead the Monarch offense averaging 11.5 points and 3.4 rebounds.
Keyton Winder has had a solid freshman season with 9.7 points and 4.2 boards. Senior point guard
Kyle Stackhouse has averaged 9.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists. Stackhouse leads the Freedom with a 2.5 assist to turnover ratio.
Junior guard
Matt Fiorino has averaged 8.9 points and connected on 39-of-101 3-pointers this season.
Tim O'Shea has added 7.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game and a team-high 13 blocks on the season.
Mike Foster has led the Freedom Conference in 3-point percentage as a freshman at .521.
FDU's offense is paced by Adam Katz. Katz has averaged 12.8 points, 2.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds. Will Green has chipped in 11.9 points, and a team high 9.3 boards per contest. Derek Hall has turned in 9.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
The Monarchs return to Scandlon Gymnasium next Wednesday when they take on Delaware Valley at 8:00 p.m. in Freedom Conference action.
