Wilkes-Barre, PA-- The King's College baseball team saw its comeback bid fall short as they lost to visiting Lebanon Valley 10-6 Tuesday afternoon at Lipo Field.

Clinging to a 5-4 lead in the seventh inning the Dutchmen took advantage of three King's errors to push across three runs, two unearned and push the lead back up to 8-4. Lebanon Valley tacked on a pair of insurance runs in the eighth as well.

Down 5-0 after the top of the fourth the Monarchs responded in the bottom of the fourth. Rob Lemoncelli jump started the offense with a solo blast to lead off the first. After a Brian Mikus ground out Brenton Eades stroked a single to plate Bohem and make the score 5-4.
