King's Men's Tennis Drops a Pair of Matches to Webber International and Alfred State

Babson Park, FL— The King's College men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches 9-0 against NAIA Weber International and 8-1 against Alfred State during the annual spring break trip.

Against Alfred Tony Bevevino was the lone winner defeating Nate Kucko 6-1, 7-5. Chris Cozzllio dropped the first set 4-6, but came back to win the second 6-3 and fell in the super tie breaker set 10-6. Jake Rohring also dropped the first set 6-4 and rallied to win the second 7-5, but dropped the super tie breaker 10-8.

Cozzillio worked to a tie break in the first set against Webber but lost in straight sets7-5, 6-2. Webber swept the doubles matches 8-2, 8-2, 8-0.

The Monarchs finish their spring break slate on Thursday when they take on Ursinus at 11:30 a.m.
