King's Volleyball Edged by Albright in Tight Four-Setter

KING'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS CLOSE FOUR-SETTER TO ALBRIGHT 

 

WILKES-BARRE – In a match closely contest through each of the four games played, visiting Albright College posted a hard-fought 3-1 victory over King's College in a non-conference women's volleyball matchup Saturday in Scandlon Gymnasium.

Albright won by scores of 25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 25-23 to improve to 2-6 while King's slipped to 3-10.

Alexa Nelson led King's with 16 kills on the day while Kelsie Kramer followed with 10 kills. Elen O'Donnell added nine kills and three digs while Mary Loughran dished out 39 assists. Alyssa Powell registered 19 digs while Eboni Chase and Jillian Foster  tallied 12 and 10 digs respectively. Molly Dahl chipped in with four kills, three digs, and two solo blocks.

King's will travel to face Wilkes Wednesday at 7:0 p.m. in the Marts Center.
