KING'S VOLLEYBALL SPLITS OPENING MATCHES AT MUHLENBERG

ALLENTOWN -- The King's College women's volleyball team went 1-1 after its first two matches during the opening day of the Muhlenberg College Invitational Friday in Allentown.

King's defeated Centenary 3-0 in its first match by scores of 25-15, 25-16, 27-25. The Lady Monarchs then fell to host Muhlenberg 3-0 by scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Against Muhlenberg, Alexa Nelson posted nine kills while Elen O'Donnell followed with six kills and four digs. Mary Loughran dished out 19 assists with seven digs while Emily Heimbecker contributed three kills and 10 digs. Jillian Foster chipped in with 10 digs.

Versus Centenary, Nelson had eight kills while O'Donnell added seven kills and six digs. Loughran contributed 18 assists and seven digs while Foster posted 10 digs.
