KING'S WOMEN'S SWIMMERS SPLIT WITH LYCOMING, FDU
FULL RESULTS
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's swim team split a tri-meet with Lycoming College and FDU-Florham Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.
The Lady Monarchs defeated FDU 185-47 but fell to Lycoming 158-93.
Patricia Manning captured the 200-breaststroke with a 2:37.43 as well as the 400-individual medley at 4:48.32. She also finished second in the 200-freestyle at 2:08.42.
In the 1000-freestyle, Caroline Fitch was second with a time of 11:49.09. In the 100-breaststroke, Hailey Moore was second with a 1:17.50 while Rachel Jonas was third at 1:19.36. Kim Brino was second in the 200 butterfly with a 2:27.98. Macawley Brown finished third in the 50-freestyle at 27.58.
King's team of Brown, Fitch, Brino, and Jonas won the 200-freestyle relay with a 1:51.48. In the women's 200 medley relay, King's team of Manning, Jonas, Bulger, and Gabi Santangelo were second with a time of 2:05.35.
King's will return to the pool Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. matchup at Albright College in Reading.
