King's Men's Basketball Looks to Get Back on Track Against Crosstown Rival Wilkes
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The King's College men's basketball team continues Freedom Conference action on Wednesday when they travel to Wilkes for an 8:00 p.m. tip-off.

King's brings a 6-9 overall record and a 1-3 mark in Freedom Conference play after dropping a tough 70-67 loss at Eastern on Saturday. The Colonels dropped to 7-7 and 0-4 in league play with a 69-65 loss to Manhattanville. This is the fifth time the two teams have been in the same building this season, but the first time they have played.

Kyle Hammonds leads the Monarch offense with 12.9 points per game. Senior
Matt Fiorino is averaging 10.7 points per contest while hitting 38 three-pointers.
Keyton Winder chips in 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Tim O'Shea adds 7.7 points and 3.7 boards. Freshman
Tom Heston is King's leading rebounder with 5.3 boards per contest. He also averages 6.2 points.
The Colonels offense is paced by Chris Shovlin and his 24.7 points, 6.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game. Tyler Breznitsky chips in 12.3 points. Pat Furst adds 7.2 points and 2.4 boards.
Following the matchup with Wilkes the Monarchs will continue Freedom Conference play on Saturday when they host Manhattanville at 3:00 p.m. at Scandlon Gymnasium.
