King's Women's Cagers Return Home to Take on Eastern
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The King's College women's basketball team returns to Scandlon Gymnasium when they host Eastern University Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in Freedom Conference action.

The Lady Monarchs come into the game with a 14-5 overall record and a 6-2 mark in the Freedom Conference after suffering a 63-48 loss at DeSales on Saturday. Eastern brings an 8-11 overall record and 4-4 record in league play following a 73-56 loss at Manhattanville.
Senior point guard
Katlin Michaels leads King's with 14.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game. Michaels is also averaging 3.5 steals as well. Fellow senior
Celia Rader adds 13.9 points per game and is only six points from becoming the 19th player in King's history to reach the 1,000 point plateau. Rader has notched 53 three-pointers on the year.
The Lady Monarchs are getting 10.5 points from senior
Lindsay Atchison. She also grabs 5.7 rebounds. Freshman
Jennifer Fabian has broken into the starting lineup and is adding 5.4 points and 5.6 boards. Senior
Molly Dahl adds 5.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
Eastern is paced by reigning Freedom Conference “Player of the Year” Meghan Nowak who is averaging a double-double with 17.3 points and 10.6 rebounds. Kaitlyn Dougherty chips in 9.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Gian DiDomenico adds 8.6 points and leads the Eagles with 3.2 assists per game.
