King's Women's Cagers Host DeSales in Return to Freedom Conference Play
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The King's College women's basketball team returns to Freedom Conference action on Wednesday when they host DeSales University at 6:00 p.m. at Scandlon Gymnasium.

The Lady Monarchs carry a 7-4 overall record and 1-1 record in Freedom Conference play. King's earned a 76-66 win over Neumann on Saturday. DeSales enters the contest with an 8-4 overall mark and a 1-1 record in league play. The Bulldogs defeated Gwynedd-Mercy 86-71 on Monday.
Senior guards
Celia Rader and
Katlin Michaels lead the Lady Monarch offense. Rader is King's leading scorer averaging 15.2 points per game. Rader has hit 36 three-pointers on the year. Michaels has been a do-it-all guard scoring 14.0 points, while notching 6.6 assists and 6.3 rebounds per game.
Lindsay Atchison has contributed 8.5 points and 5.1 rebounds including 17 points at Neumann on Saturday.
Ashley Davies adds 6.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest.
Molly Dahl has come off the bench and provided 4.7 points and 4.5 boards per game.
The Bulldogs have three players averaging double-figure scoring led by Sondrine Glovas. Glovas has netted 16.8 points to go with 5.3 rebounds. Colleen Gavin chips in 10.8 points and a team-leading 7.1 boards. Alexiah Grant adds 10.3 points per contest as well as 4.2 rebounds.
The Lady Monarchs continue Freedom Conference play when they travel to Eastern on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
