LADY MONARCH VOLLEYBALL FALLS AT MISERICORDIA

DALLAS -- The King's College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to host Misericordia University Wednesday night in the Anderson Center.

Misericordia, which won by scores of 25-21, 27-25, 25-12, improved to 11-13 overall and 3-2 in the Freedom Conference while King's slipped to 11-8 and 1-4.

Alexa Nelson led King's with seven kills and one block. Mary Loughran added 17 assists and eight digs while Jessica Carr added five kills and two blocks. Sarah Busse tallied four kills, four assists, and five digs while Alyssa Powell posted a team-high 10 digs while Elen O'Donnell chipped in with nine digs.

King's returns to the court Friday with a 5:00 p.m. matchup against St. Lawrence University.
