KING'S MEN'S SOCCER SETTLES FOR 1-1 TIE ALVERNIA IN DOUBLE OVERTIME
READING — The King's College men's soccer team used a goal early in the second half to forge a 1-1 double-overtime tie with host Alvernia University Wednesday in Reading.
With the draw, King's stands at 4-2-3 on the year while Alvernia is now 3-6-1
Alvernia got on the scoreboard first just 1:20 into the game when Ricky Bruno scored off a pass from Alex Martyn.
King's answered 11:30 into the second half when
Daniel Hernandez redirected a blocked shot by Chri Nygren into the Crusader net to tie the score at 1-1

Karl Jamiolkowski posted two saves while Alvernia keeper David Giannini made six stops.
King's will return to action Saturday when the Monarchs travel to Madison, NJ to face FDU-Florham at 2:30 p.m. at Shield Field.
