King's dropped a 1-0 decision to Misericordia on Saturday

KING'S FIELD HOCKEY EDGED MY MISERICORDIA, 1-0

DALLAS -- Jennifer O'Neill scored the lone goal 1:51 into the second half as the host Misericordia University field hockey team posted a 1-0 victory over visiting King's College Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.

With the win, King's fell to 7-7 overall and 1-5 in the Freedom Conference while Misericordia improved to 6-11 and 4-2 in league play.

Both teams had 12 shots each while Misericordia held a 12-10 advantage in penalty corners.  King's goalie Megan Withrow made six saves while Cougar keeper Angela Pasquini had seven stops.

King's will close out its season Tuesday with a 3:00 p.m. matchup at DeSales University.
