KING'S VOLLEYBALL SPLITS AT MAC CROSS-OVER MEET
PURCHASE, NY — The King's College women's volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Middle Atlantic Conference Cross-Over Meet Saturday at Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY.
With the split, King's stands at 11-6 on the year. The Lady Monarchs downed Alvernia University in its first match 3-2 by scores of 25-22, 12-25, 28-26, 25-27, 15-13. KIng's fell to Albright 3-0 by scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-5.
Against Alvernia,
Jessica Carr posted 18 kills and six digs while
Elen O'Donnell added 15 kills and 16 digs.
Mary Loughran dished out 41 assists with seven kills and 16 digs while
Sarah Busse tallied 13 digs, seven assists, and five kills. Alex Nelson registered 10 kills and two digs while
Aubrey Gryskiewicz and
Eboni Chase had 16 and 11 digs respectively.
In the match with Albright Nelson had four kills and two digs while Loughran had eight assists and two digs. Busse tallied seven digs while O'Donnell and
Brandilee Soto chalked up six digs each.
Kelsie Kramer and Carr chipped in with two kills each.
King's returns to action Tuesday with a 7:00 p.m. matchup at FDU-Florham in Madison, NJ.
