KING'S-SCRANTON TO "PLAY 4 GRAY" FOR BRAIN CANCER

WILKES-BARRE --  The King's College and University of Scranton women's basketball teams will be co-sponsoring a Play 4 Gray Game on Saturday when the Lady Monarchs host the Lady Royals at 1:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.

Gray is the color of brain cancer and both basketball teams will play the game with the hopes of raising awareness, funds, and showing support for King's College women's basketball coach Brian Donoghue who is battling brain cancer.

There will be free candy for all who attend the game in the lobby of Scandlon Gymnasium with the hopes of donations being made in acceptance of candy to help support the Donoghue family.

Those unable to attend the game and wish to make a donation can do so by contacting King's Director of Athletics Cheryl Ish at 570-208-5855 or by email at cherylish@kings.edu
