Lady Monarch Basketball Hosts Misericordia Tuesday in Freedom Conference Tilt
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The King's College women's basketball team hosts Misericordia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday in a key Freedom Conference tilt.

The Lady Monarchs are 18-5 overall and 10-2 in the Freedom Conference and is second one game back of FDU-Florham following a 79-58 win over Manhattanville on Saturday. Misericordia is one game out of the conference playoff picture with an 11-12 overall mark and a 5-7 record in league play following a 61-50 win over Delaware Valley.
Senior guard
Katlin Michaels leads the King's offense with 15.3 points per game. She ranks third in the nation with 6.6 assists per game. Michaels is also grabbing 6.5 rebounds per game. She is also just 21 points away from becoming the 20
th player in King's history to reach the 1,000 point plateau. Fellow senior
Celia Rader adds 13.7 points per contest and has connected on 67 three-pointers on the season which is the fourth-best mark in King's history.
The Lady Monarchs are also getting double-figure scoring from
Lindsay Atchison averaging 10.2 points and 5.5 boards per game. Freshman
Jennifer Fabian chips in 7.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per outing.
Molly Dahl adds 6.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Lauren Smicherko leads the Cougar offense behind 13.2 points and 5.8 boards. Hannah Seely averages 11.6 points and leads Misericordia with 7.7 rebounds per contest. Tyann McDaniel adds 9.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
The Lady Monarchs close out the regular season with Wilkes on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Scandlon Gymnasium.
