MONARCH TENNIS FALLS TO WILKES IN FREEDOM CONFERENCE SHOWDOWN
WILKES-BARRE -- Defending Freedom Conference champion Wilkes University won a battle of league unbeatens, posting an 8-0 victory over visiting King's College Friday at Ralston Courts.
With the win, Wilkes improved to 10-2 overall and 5-0 in Freedom Conference matches. King's, meanwhile, fell to 8-8 overall and 3-1 in league play after dropping its first conference match of the season.
King's will look to get back on track Saturday when the Monarchs travel to Glenside to face Arcadia University in another important league matchup.
