Tuminello Goal Helps King's to 1-1 Tie at Juniata
Huntingdon, Pa. -- The King's College men's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie with Juniata in non-conference play Saturday afternoon.
After a scoreless first half the Eagles got on the board first on a goal from Dani Meyer-Arrivilla scoring on a cross from Nick Stone-Weiss at the 76:23 mark.
The Monarchs didn't waste any time evening the score when Anthony Tuminello put the ball inside the near post off a
Chris Nygren free kick.
Juniata held a 21-14 advantage in total shots, but both teams put four shots on goal. The Eagles also posted a 9-3 edge in corner kicks.
Karl Jamiolkowski made his first collegiate start for King's making three saves. Blaine Barsch made three stops for Juniata.
The Monarchs return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Clarks Summit for a 4:00 p.m. contest with Baptist Bible.
