KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO JUNIATA

HUNTINGDON -- Host Juniata College built a two-goal half-time lead en route to posting a 2-0 victory over visiting King's College Saturday in Huntingdon.

With the win Juniata improved to 5-0 on the year while King's slipped to 3-2.
Emily Green gave Juniata a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal 14:54 into the match. The Eagles would then build a 2-0 lead when Paula Pryor scored on a breakaway with 4:42 left in the opening half in what proved to be the final goal of the game.
 
King's outshot Juniata 8-6 Juniata had six shots while holding a 4-3 lead in corner kicks.
Eagle keeper Erin Mueller had six saves on the day. Lady Monarch goalies Lauren Duguid and Jessica Natale played one half apiece and had one save each.
King's will next host Mt. St. Vincent Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
