King's College Men's Tennis Sweeps Alvernia
Reading, Pa. -- The King's College men's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over Alvernia on Saturday morning.
George Parkhurst earned a 6-2, 6-0 win over Dennis Sult at the top flight singles. In number two singles
Stephen Brand defeated Daniel Minnich 6-3, 7-6. King's
Tony Bevevino notched a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Aaron Yoros.
In the fourth flight singles Jacob Rohring scored a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
Chris DiMino picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win over Jacob Conapitski. In the final singles flight
Andrew Panzitta beat Sean Boyd 6-1, 6-2.
The Monarchs swept the doubles contests with Parkhurst and Brand scoring an 8-4 win in the top flight. Rohring and Bevevino tallied an 8-1 win in the second flight. Panzitta and
Ryan Hegarty picked up an 8-2 win.
King's is back in action on Sunday when they travel to Susquehanna.
