KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FORGES 0-0 DOUBLE-OT TIE AT ALBRIGHT
READING -- The King's College women's soccer team played through a steady rain and walked away with a 0-0 double-overtime tie with host Albright College Saturday night in Reading.
With the draw, King's stands at 4-2-1 while Albright is 2-3-1.
Neither team was able to mount much offensively. Albright had 13 total shots but only five were on goal. King's mustered eight shots but just five were on goal. Albright had nine corner kicks compared to five for the Lady Monarchs
Jessica Natale played all 110 minutes for King's and posted five saves. Alexis Lorusso did the same for Albright, tallying three stops.
The Lady Monarchs will next play host to Lebanon Valley College Saturday at King's Homecoming. The game is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
