KING'S VOLLEYBALL WINS HOME FINALE WITH 3-1 TRIUMPH OF DELAWARE VALLEYWILKES-BARRE — The King's College women's volleyball team closed out its 2014 home schedule with a 3-1 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College Wednesday night in Scandlon Gymnasium.
With the win, King's improved to 16-11 on the year while the Aggies fell to 6-21.
Katelyn Shifflett led KIng's with 14 kills, 10 digs, and five total blocks while
Jessica Carr followed with 12 kills and two digs.
Sarah Busse distributed 45 assists with 10 digs and two aces while
Alyssa Powell and
Brenna Smudde added 19 digs respectively.
Kelsie Kramer contributed eight kills while
Emily Heimbecker added eight kills and seven blocks.
Elen O'Donnell tallied three kills, seven assists, and 13 digs while Aubrey Gryskiewski registered three kills and six digs.
King's will close out its season Saturday with a tri-meet with SUNY Maritime and Brooklyn College in Throggs Neck, NY
