KING'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS CONFERENCE MATCH TO WILKES

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to crosstown rival Wilkes University Tuesday night in the Marts Center.
 
Wilkes won by scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-22. With the loss King's slips to 10-6 overall and 0-4 in the Freedom Conference. Wilkes, meanwhile, improved to 8-10 overall and 2-2 in league play. 

Katelyn Shifflett led King's with 13 kills and two blocks while Mary Loughran dished out 29 assists with 24 digs and three kills.  Elen O'Donnell followed with five kills and nine digs while Emily Heimbecker added five kills and eight digs. Jessica Carr contributed four kills while Brenna Smudde tallied 12 digs. 

King's returns to the court Friday and Saturday at the Ithaca College Invitational in Ithaca, NY.
