King's Wrestlers Register 40-10 Road Win Over Penn College

KING'S WRESTLERS DOWN PENN COLLEGE, 40-10

WILLIAMSPORT -- The King's College wrestling team won six of eight matches wrestled and added two forfeit victories as the Monarchs posted a 40-10 victory over host Penn College of Technoloy Thursday night in Williamsport.

King's jumped out to a 15-0 lead on the strength of a pin by Jake Daniel at 125 and a 11-6 decision from Kevin Jelly at 141, sandwiched around a Matt Sparks forfeit win at 133. Monach freshman Howie Kilpatrick then earned a 7-3 decision at 149 before Matt Lukachinski posted a pin at 157 to push the King's lead to 24-4.

The lead grew to 30-10 after Jack Hower received a forfeit at 184 and a Ryan Longenberger 14-4 major decision at 197 stretched the score to 34-10. King's freshman heavywweight Brad Lucas put his stamp on the final score with a pin in 2:41.
