King's Men's Tennis Earns 8-1 League Victory Over Misericordia

KING'S MEN'S TENNIS IMPROVES TO 2-0 IN FREEDOM WITH 8-1 WIN OVER MISERICORDIA

DALLAS -- The King's College men's tennis team remained perfect in Freedom Conference play, posting a 8-1 victory over host Misericordia University Wednesday in Dallas. With the win, King's improved to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in Freedom Conference play. Misericordia, meanwhile, slipped to 3-8 and 0-1. 

George Parkhurst was a winner in both singles and doubles for the Monarchs. Stephen Brand, Tony Bevevino, Jake Rohring, Chris DiMino, and Rob Corridoni were all straight-set winners for the Monarchs.

In doubles, Parkhurst teamed with Tyler Ryman for a 8-1 triumph in the first flight while Andrew Panzitta paired with John Labiak for a 8-6 victory in the number-two flight.

King's returns to the court Saturday with a 1:00 p.m.  matchup at FDU-Florham in Madison,  NJ.
