King's Men's Tennis Stays Unbeaten in Freedom with 8-1 Win Over FDU

KING'S MEN'S TENNIS IMPROVES TO 3-0 IN CONFERENCE PLAY WITH 8-1 WIN OVER FDU

MADISON, NJ -- The King's College men's tennis team stayed unbeaten in Freedom Conference play as the Monarchs posted a 8-1 victory over hist FDU-Florham Saturday in Madison, NJ.

With the win King's improved to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in league competition while FDU fell to 2-4 and 0-2.

The Monarchs jumped out to a 3-0 lead after sweeping the doubles competition. King's then clinched the match by winning five-of-six singles contests. George Parkhurst, Stephen Brand, Jake Rohring, and Chris DiMinio were all winners in doubles and singles. Ryan Hegarty and Tyler Ryman also teamed to add a doubles win.

The Monarchs will play at Marywood Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
