Selina Malacari scored the game winning goal off of a rebound at 37:44 to lead the King's College field hockey team to a 1-0 defeat of Marywood University.

MalacariMalacari took a rebound off of a shot from
Alyssa Monaghan and buried it in the back of the net just under three minutes into the second half to give King's a 1-0 lead. That proved to be the winning goal as the team posted their third straight shutout victory.
The Monarchs controlled possession much of the game and held a 29-4 advantage in shots and a 14-3 advantage in penalty corners. Â Monaghan, Malacari, and
Nicole Sott each had five shots for the Monarchs. Kayle Huey made 16 saves in goal for the Pacers to keep the game close.
Paige Tedik got the win in goal for the Monarchs making four saves.
King's will next be in action on Saturday when they travel to Selinsgrove, PA to face Susquehanna University at 1:00 p.m.
