KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER DOWNS ALBRIGHT 2-0WILKES-BARRE, PA --- The King's College women's soccer team defeated visiting Albright College 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at McCarthy Stadium.
With the win King's improves to 2-1-2 while Albright falls to 3-4.
Savannah Tucker gave King's a 1-0 lead in the middle of the first half when she scored a goal off of an assist from
Ivy Nulton at 25:26. The Lady Monarch's second goal came in the second half when
Alexandra Garrett put the ball past the goalkeeper off of a long pass from Nulton at 50:59.
King's outshot Albright 10-7 while Albright held a 10-3 advantage in corner kicks. King's goalie
Jessica Natale made four saves in the game.
The Lady Monarchs will next be in action on Wednesday when they host Lycoming College at McCarthy Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
