KING'S MEN'S SOCCER BLANKS BBC, 6-0

WILKES-BARRE -- Nial Croke and Korbin Keene scored two goals apiece to power the King's men's soccer team to a 6-0 victory over visiting Baptist Bible College Wednesday at McCarthy Stadium.

With the win King's improved to 6-3 while the Defenders fell to 3-6.

The Monarchs took a 1-0 lead at the 34:48 mark when Niall Croke headed in a corner kick off the foot of Chris Nygren, a lead that would stand up tho the halftime break.

The lead grew to 3-0 with 23:20 to play on back-to-back goals by Korbin Keene. Croke added his second goal of the game on a penalty kick with 21:17 on the clock before Keegan Fees scored off an assist from Erik Foster at the 14:13 mark.  
King's added a final goal when Raul Cruz found the back of the net off a pass from Billy Brown.

King's outshot Baptist Bible 25-2 and led 16-1 in corner kicks. King's goalie Tyler Wilson made one save in 85 minutes while Marcus Otto was not forced to make a save.

The Monarchs next travel to Frederick, Md. to face Hood College Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
