KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO LEBANON VALLEY

ANNVILLE, PA --- The host Lebanon Valley women's soccer team used a three goal game by Teanna Shutt to defeat King's College 4-0 on Saturday in Annville.

With the win Lebanon Valley improved their record to 7-1-1 while King's slipped to 3-2-2.

Lebanon Valley, ranked 9th in the latest NSCAA Regional Rankings, were led by Shutt who scored two of her three goals in the first eight and a half minutes of the game. Her first goal came at 1:22 off of a cross from Sammy Bost. Shutt scored again at 8:19 on a header off of a cross from Amanda Douglass. Johnna Garbrick gave the Dutchman a 3-0 lead at 36:22 when she scored off an assist by Laura Zimmerman. Shutt finished her hat trick with the last goal of the game in the second half at 67:19 on an assist from Meghan Ross.

Lebanon Valley outshot King's 30-3 and had the advantage in corner kicks 6-0. Jessica Natale made 13 saves in goal for the Monarchs. Lindsey Humanik, Alexandra Garrett, and Gabrielle Murphy had a shot each for King's.

The Monarchs will next be in action on Wednesday when they will travel to Rosemont, PA to face Rosemont College at 7:00 p.m.
