KING'S WRESTLERS DROP PAIR AT PENNSYLVANIA/NEW YORK DUALS

OSWEGO, NY -- The King's College wrestling team dropped a pair of matches Saturday at the annual Pennsylvania/New York Duals at Oswego State University, Oswego, NY.

King's dropped its first match to Rochester Institute of Technology 26-24 ,before falling to host Oswego State 29-12.

Jake Daniels went 2-0 for King's at 125-pounds, including a 8-2 decision against Oswego and a forfeit versus RIT. Matt Sparks was also 2-0 at 133, earning a 10-3 decision over Oswego while picking up a forfeit against RIT. Against RIT, Keith Wanamaker picked up a second period pin at 157 in his lone match of the day and his first of the season after spending the first semester studying abroad.

Ryan Longenberger went 1-1 on the day, gaining a 3-2 decision at 197-pounds against RIT. Against RIT Ralph Bernardo posted a 5-2 decision at heavyweight. King's final win was a forfeit for Brad Lucas against Oswego. 

King's returns to the mats Saturday at the Will Abel Duals at Ursinus College.
