KING'S GRAPPLERS FALL TO LYCOMINGWILLIAMSPORT -- The 20th ranked Lycoming College wrestling team won seven of 10 matches en route to a 36-9 over visiting King's College Sunday in Williamsport.Lycoming took a 3-0 lead after Kyle Drick posted a 6-4 decision at 125-pounds. The Monarcsh tied the score at 3-3 when Matthew Sparks earned a 6-4 decision of his own at 133. After Lycoming took a 9-3 lead after receiving a forfeit at 141, Seth Lansberry followed with a pin for the Warriots at 149 to stretch the lead to 15-3. At 157, Keith Wanamaker trimmed the score to 15-6 with a 6-3 decision but Lycoming put the match away with a pair of pins at 165 and 174 to give the Warriors a 27-6 advantage.King's received a 8-3 decision from Zachary Smith at 184 but Lycoming captured final two matches with a pin and decision to set the final score.The Monarchs will host its first dual meet of the season Friday with a 6:00 p.m. matchup against Elizabethtown College.
