KING'S MEN'S TENNIS POST WINS OVER KEYSTONE AND LEBANON VALLEY

WILKES-BARRE, PA --- The King's College men's tennis team posted a pair of wins over Keystone College and Lebanon Valley College on Sunday at Kirby Park. The Monarchs first defeated Keystone 8-1 then beat Lebanon Valley 6-3.

With the wins King's improves to 9-5. Keystone falls to 1-9 while Lebanon Valley drops to 5-6.

In the first match of the day against Keystone King's swept all three doubles matches and then won five of the six singles matches. In the match against Lebanon Valley the Monarchs won two of the three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches.

Nathan Carl and Matt James were winners in singles and doubles in both matches. John Labiak and Terry Briggs were winners in singles and doubles against Keystone. Stephen Brand and George Parkhurst were winners in singles and doubles against Lebanon Valley.

King's will next be in action on Wednesday when they travel to Dallas, PA to face conference rival Misericordia University at 3:00 p.m.
