KING'S BASEBALL TO HOST DESALES SATURDAY AT PNC FIELDWILKES-BARRE — The King's College baseball team will have an opportunity to play at one of the premier minor league ball parks in the nation when the Monarchs host DeSales University Saturday at PNC Field in Moosic. First pitch is slated for 1:30 p.m.
PNC Field is home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. PNC Field, which seats 10,000 people, opened under new construction in 2013 and has received great praise as one of the finest fields in minor league baseball.
KIng's and DeSales will play the contest as the first game of a three-game Freedom Conference weekend series. The teams will play the final two games Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at DeSales.
