KING'S MEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO WILKES IN BATTLE FOR TOP SEED
WILKES-BARRE -- In what was a battle for the top seed in this week's Freedom Conference Team Tournament, the visiting Wilkes University men's tennis team took the top spot with a 9-0 victory over host King's College Sunday at Kirby Park.
With the win Wilkes improved to 17-2 overall and 6-0 in Freedom Conference play while the Monarchs slipped to 12-6 and 5-1.
King's will host third-seeded FDU-Florham in the Freedom Conference semi-finals Wednesday at a time to be announced.
