KING'S MEN'S TENNIS FACING WILKES FOR FREEDOM CONFERENCE TITLEWILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's tennis team will compete for the 2015 Freedom Conference championship today when the Monarchs travel to face top-seeded defending champion Wilkes University at Schmidt Courts.
King's (13-6) entered the event as the second seed and defeated third-seeded FDU-Florham 5-1 in the semi-finals on Tuesday. Wilkes (18-2) advanced with a 5-0 win over Arcadia.
Junior
George Parkhurst tops the Monarchs with a 16-2 record while senior
Stephen Brand is 15-8.
Nathan Carl stands at 14-7 while
Ryan Hegarty is 14-8. Matt james checks in with an 8-6 mark.
The winning team will receive an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III National Team Tournament
